![]() His generosity was limitless, and even if he was struggling himself, he always found a way to help someone else, to give in any way he could. He could often be found hosting cribbage and dice games, where his infectious laugh ensured that the games were never taken too seriously. Mark loved to cook, and bring people together around his table. Mark soon followed in 1993, and made the Eagle River Valley his home. His brother Scott, who predeceased Mark in 2011, moved to Vail to work in the kitchen at the legendary Tyrolean Inn. ![]() His love of the game never wavered, and many friends were drawn into the leagues he played in, forming lasting friendships of their own. Coached by his father James Elliott, he became a Varsity high school hockey goaltender. Raised in Harwich, MA, Mark spent all of his time outdoors unless he was playing hockey. Mark Colby Elliott, of Leadville, previously of Vail, passed away suddenly on the morning of Oct 30, 2023.
